I have been in Moscow on a Fulbright grant since September
2001, teaching at Moscow State University, conducting research on
Russian autobiography, and working as the Co-Director of the Center
for Russia and the United States. With the school semester coming
to a close, I can truly say that the experience I have had teaching
students at MGU, and the contacts I have made with faculty in the
Philology Department, where I have been teaching, as well as with
faculty and administrators have met through my work at the Center
have been highly rewarding, both professionally and personally.
